55-60 Waxwings by the Tyne Tunnel roundabout, Jarrow.
1 Kingfisher, 1 Willow Tit, 1 Chiffchaff and 1 Woodcock by River Don, Boldon Colliery. 1 Short-eared Owl at West Pastures. 2 Jack Snipe and 1 Water Rail at Primrose LNR, Jarrow, also 8 Siskin and 1 Lesser Redpoll there.

6 January
River Don, Boldon Colliery: 1 Grey Wagtail, 1 Siskin, 1 Chiffchaff.

5 January
West Pastures: 3 Short-eared Owl, 3 Bullfinch, 27 Fieldfare. Mount Pleasant Farm: 1 Woodcock, 29 Fieldfare.

4 January
River Don, Jarrow: 1 Chiffchaff, 50 Siskin, 6 Bullfinch and 1Kingfisher.
Barmston Pond: 1 Greylag Goose, 75 Teal, 15 Shoveler, 1 Lesser Black-backed Gull, 2 Waxwing. 1 Chiffchaff along the edge of Keir Hardy Way, Monkwearmouth.

3 January
Barmston Pond: 15 Siskin, 1 Jay, 3 Goldcrest, 1 Sparrowhawk.

1 January
Mount Pleasant: 5 Stock Dove, 15 Redwing, 2 Mistle Thrush. Barmston Pond: 20 Mallard, 14 Shoveler, 100+ Teal, 1 Jay, 2 Skylark, 4 Yellowhammer. 2 Short-eared Owl, 80 Fieldfare, 4 Bullfinch at West Pastures.
River Don- Primrose to Tyne: 5 Goldcrest, 6+ Bullfinch, 1 Kingfisher, 3-4 Grey Wagtail, 41 Teal, 14 Mallard, 30+ Siskin, 2 Redpoll sp, 2 Lesser Redpoll, 1 Common Redpoll, 1 Jay, 1 Treecreeper, 6+ Coal Tits, 10+ Long-tailed Tits and 2+ Sparrowhawk.
